Directions to Hitchcock Bay
From Saskatoon
• Take Lorne Avenue south out of Saskatoon
which turns into Hwy #219
• You will then turn west (right) onto Hwy #44 taking you across
Gardiner Dam
• Turn south (left) onto Hwy #45 which will take you to Birsay
• Turn into Birsay and follow the Hitchcock Bay sign.
• From Birsay you will go 5 miles east on the grid road
• There will be a curve in the grid road which you stay on heading
south
• It now turns to broken pavement for a mile
• Don’t take the left hand curve on the pavement, rather take
the road to the right (still heading south) with the boat launch sign
to Hitchcock Bay
• Take your next right, then left right away to the boat launch
where your fishing trip will begin
